Save the date for the 13th EEHNC!

Save the Date – 13th EEHNC 2027 in ’s-Hertogenbosch!

We are pleased to announce that the 13th European Equine Health & Nutrition Congress (EEHNC) will take place from 11–13 March 2027 in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. The congress will be hosted by HAS green academy, with special support from the Animal Welfare and Technology professorship led by Lenny van Erp van der Kooij. Femke Schaafstra, lecturer-researcher within this group, is also involved in the local organization.

As an explorer from, for, and with the green sector, HAS green academy fosters innovation and progress in agriculture, food, and the living environment—embracing entrepreneurship, inclusivity, and curiosity to create real impact.

The Animal Welfare and Technology professorship focuses on improving animal welfare through the measurement and monitoring of animal behavior and health, using technology to prevent disease, reduce resource use, and enhance well-being.
