12th EEHNC registration is now open!
Building on the success of previous editions, the 12th EEHNC will feature a comprehensive program of workshops and demonstrations, including sessions on exercise physiology and gait analysis. As part of the congress, a follow-up to the highly regarded 5th EEHNC (2011) theme, “Feeding the Muscles,” will be presented. This year’s congress will explore the nutrition of both healthy performance horses and those with muscle disorders, with an added emphasis on exercise physiology.
The program will also cover updates on energy provision, electrolyte balance, thermoregulation, and clinical perspectives related to equine nutrition and performance. Multidisciplinary panel discussions will provide attendees with valuable insights into the nutritional management of horses, focusing on performance and muscle health. Additionally, the congress will showcase new technologies for forage analysis and demonstrate the use of augmented reality in equine science.
Gastrointestinal health remains a key focus at our congress. This topic will be explored in a dedicated research track, with related themes such as gastric ulcers and inflammatory bowel disease also featured in the plenary program. Additionally, the congress offers specialized tracks for veterinarians, covering topics such as cardiology, respiratory health, muscle problem diagnostics, parasitology, and insulin resistance.
The 12th EEHNC congress is designed to offer multidisciplinary perspectives on equine health in the plenary sessions. Equine professionals, industry representatives, researchers, and veterinarians will also have the option to follow various specialized focus tracks. You can choose to register for a full package or attend selected sessions, allowing you to tailor your learning journey. However, for a comprehensive experience, we recommend following the 3-day plenary program.
